if your 6 year old is going to turn 7 before April 30, 2009, then they will need to sign
up for the Rookie baseball league.

	Softball Registration There are 2 different divisions for Softball, one of which has a $25 registration fee. 8U Girls Softball If you are signing up for the new 8U softball league, please email Mike LeVan at mlevan@northerncalripken.com. The first 40 people that sign up will be free! DO NOT use this form to sign up for the 8U softball league. Please send all of the information in the email to Mike. This is a coach pitch league. This league has never been offered before and in order to get the league up and running, the first 40 girls that sign up have NO REGISTRATION FEE! So sign up as early as you can in order to take advantage of this great deal! If for some reason you do sign up and for some reason can not play, then please let us know as soon as possible so we can let someone else take advantage of this offer. Each girl shall receive a free t-shirt and hat for their team! Girls Softball This league is a player pitch league. This league is for girls ages 9 - 16. Baseball Registration There are 3 different divisions for baseball. Each league has a fall ball fee of $25. The age groups are based on the age of the player as of April 30, 2009. T-Ball This is a league for beginning baseball or players. This league is for boys ages 4 - 6 and for girls ages 4 - 7. Rookie League Baseball This is a coach pitch league. This league is for boys ages 7 - 8 and for girls of age 8, if they do not want to start softball just yet. Major / Minor Baseball This league is a player pitch league. This league is for boys ages 9 - 12. If your child is not quite ready for the major league teams, then they are more than welcome to try out for a minor league team. This will allow then time to develop their skills with the minor league team, as well as learn to grow as they practice with a major league team. Registration Fees and Concession Stand Northern Cal Ripken, Inc., runs its baseball and softball leagues solely on the supports of parents and volunteers. The registration fee covers only a portion of the funds needed to operate the league, including : accident and liability insurance, umpires, score keepers, softballs, baseballs, year books, individual trophies, and team drinks. As such, we require that all parents work two hours in the concession stand for each child in the league. If you do not wish to work the concession stand, then you may pay a $40 fee to cover the cost of hiring a replacement. a copy of the child's birth certificate at the first team meeting.
